Great views by the window, you can even see the river severn (so ask for a window seat) service was good & the Venison was really nice. The lamb was also good but just lacking in the full lamb flavour you would expect for the price. Overall was part of a secret escape package, the squid starter was really nice, we didn’t think the gin salmon was worth the money. Breakfast was delicious and had a wealth of choices in addition to the buffet, but dinner the night before did give me a bit of a stomach upset. What we got was ordinary brown bread with sunflower oil mixed with some balsamic vinegar. Disgusting and unacceptable!
