The Old Crown in Minchinhampton is a delightful village pub that combines traditional charm with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Renovated in 2019, this 18th-century inn has become a cherished spot for locals and visitors alike. Patrons praise its hearty pub fare, including generous Sunday roasts and classic dishes like burgers and pies. The friendly staff and attentive service enhance the dining experience, making guests feel right at home. The pub's cozy interior, complete with a log burner, offers a perfect setting for a relaxed meal or drink. Families appreciate the large outdoor area, and the pub's dog-friendly policy ensures that everyone is welcome. With a selection of well-kept ales and a lively yet comfortable ambiance, The Old Crown stands out as a true gem in the Cotswolds.

We visited the Old Crown and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the Roast dinner with Beef and Gammon and I just wish I could have eaten it all over again. The staff were all friendly and accommodating and we didn't wait long at all for our food, even though the restaurant was fairly busy. They have lots of midweek offers from what I saw and I am definitely going to come back to try some! The Homemade desserts were also really tasty and fresh.

Lovely little pub near to where we live. Been going here regularly since we moved nearby. Very reasonably priced, good pub grub. Always a great meal with friendly, welcoming staff. A pleasure to have this as our local!

Three of us went for an evening meal. I mistakenly ordered salt & pepper squid for my starter as I hadn't studied the menu properly. It arrived covered in sweet chilli sauce, which I can't stand. The waiter told me that it was no problem, he'd bring me another with no sauce, which he did after I'd waited for it to be freshly cooked. He also brought extra cushions for me and during the two courses we each had, when he passed by, he made sure I was okay. Sadly, I live in London, or else this place would definitely be my local. Excellent food, with very generous helpings &...

Went here on our last night in Stroud for a pub meal. I have to say the prices on drinks were fantastic (not many places you can get a double G&T for £4.60!) The servers were really lovely and attentive throughout. The food was okay - I did enjoy my pulled BBQ pork cheeseburger! Portions were huge which again was good value for money. I definitely think this is a locals pub which might be for you if you like a lively, loud atmosphere. If you are like me, you might find it quite overwhelming. Can't fault the place itself in terms of the staff and we'll be back for...
