We came here for a family evening meal during the week and booked for 6pm. It is out in the countryside through windy roads but a nice car park and welcome when you arrive. A good choice of places to sit inside and outside and a nice atmosphere plus excellent service. A small selection of cask beers and wines. Also a small selection of food options with no ‘specials’ of the night - the menu is what you get… We chose starter and main course each plus a glass of beer or wine. The quality of the food was good, with the quantity being a little on the small side. The total came to over £30 per person which is not cheap. Overall a nice,...

The Vine Tree Inn is our favourite place to eat in the whole of Gloucestershire. The food is truly impeccable and the location is outstanding. Nestled into the rolling hills of the cotswolds the vine tree inn of Randwick is a beacon of divine food and real ales. With a simple but finely crafted menu and an excellent range of quality ales, wines and lagers the vine tree offers much more than just a great view. The specials board is always full of seasonal dishes and always include amazing Herefordshire beef steaks, which have proven to be perfect time and time again. Absolutely wonderful place, and I will...

Had Sunday lunch here the week before last. Two of us had lamb, one had beef and one had gammon. Thought it was one of the best Sunday lunches we’ve ever had, beautiful meat but also veg cooked to perfection. Good house wine as well. Very friendly, efficient, attentive young staff.

Quite narrow road leading the pub - could be an interesting test for a motorhome. Then a long steep set of stairs down to the pub. I’ve got metal knees but was OK, but I guess a wheelchair would struggle (unless there’s another access?) . Parking was easy. Would...

Hiking the Cotswold Way I decided to step off the trail for a cheeky half and was blown away by this gem of a pub. The taps included a range of crafty goodness and the atmosphere one of country inn vibes (including hanging dried hops), which by default lands this place in the 'yes' column for me, but the service was effervescent, genuine and really set my experience apart. Really pleased that I made the stop!
