5 family members visited here for my wife's birthday, drinks were fine BUT the food was shocking, beef baguette NOT in a baguette, it came with skinny frozen chips, the kind you give kids with kiddies meals, my wife tried to cut 1 and it pinged off the plate it was that hard , chicken tikka massala had 3 or 4 pieces of chicken, rice was clumped together and the so called home made chips were cooked within an inch of there life, they actually snapped in half with a crunch and nothing inside I had fish and chips, the same WELL overcooked chips, absolutely shocking how food like that could even leave the kitchen, I insisted on a full refund on the food and we left, I WON'T BE COMING BACK, there's better places out there to...

I asked for a pint of strongbow, but got lager instead. Ordered a meal of curry, rice and chips. The curry was a microwave meal from a supermarket. The rice was also store bought. The chips were oven chips, probably from a store. At £8.50 for the meal i expected the curry to be made from scratch with proper chicken breast and the chips to be proper fried chips. I certainly wouldn't recommend booking here, we had a booking on 16/11/21 following a family funeral, on arrival we found the pub locked and blinds closed.
