We had a table for 8 booked for Sunday lunch. I had my three year old with me and when the food came out his meal didn’t come with everyone else’s. When all the adult meals were on the table the waitress asked if that was everything and we told her no, there’s a child’s dinner as well. His meal took another 5 minutes to come and he was crying because he didn’t have any dinner. After we ate and plates were cleared away no one came to ask about desserts and I had to ask for the ice cream that came as part of the children’s meal. Even after I asked for the ice cream no one asked if we wanted anything else. My wife and I had cod whilst others had beef and gammon. All was delicious. Only two of the party had deserts, one had ginger pudding with custard which looked fabulous and the other was an Eaton mess, the only criticism is that the Eaton mess had no cream but other than that a perfect meal was had by all. We travelled down from Scotland in order to visit this establishment and catch up with family and we were not disappointed. We cannot recommend this place highly enough and we will be returning VERY soon. Thank you all for an amazing...
