I took my daughter and grandson here for a treat. OMG it will be the last time we ever visit, my poor grandson ordered spaghetti bolognaise, what he received was nothing like spaghetti bolognaise. It looked like vegetable soup with some spaghetti thrown in, no matter how hard we looked between the 3 of us we couldn’t find a piece of meat to save our lives. My Daughter ordered the smothered chicken, which is supposed to come with chips, garlic bread, salad and coleslaw. This arrived without salad, and without coleslaw. I ordered salad, well you can’t go wrong with salad ( can you ?) Apparently not when it’s nearly all lettuce with a couple of cherry tomatoes and some sweetcorn & croutons sprinkled on top. ( for £10) . My grandson would only eat two fork fulls of spaghetti ( there was no way off eating the slop that they called bolognaise without a spoon ) before he said it tastes horrible and wouldn’t eat any more. So he was just going to wait for his dessert, which he did for an hour, and he only got it when I went to the bar and asked for it. On top of all this they have the cheek to charge £4.50 for 90mins in the soft play. Definitely will not be heading back to Wessington Brewers Fayre.

It's leftover primary school food warmed up in a microwave. Our food was poor, freezing cold buns on a hot burger, dry and stale chips and a dry and stale pie. The starter was like having yesterdays left over takeaway chips microwaved for 3 minutes. For some odd reason they brought the starter and one main together instead of the starter first then the mains. So I had to eat the starter while my friend had his main. Then he had to watch me eat my main... I've added a picture of my pie, chips and peas. (the pie tasted good) Deserts took 31 minutes to come and when they did they were missing ingredients which I had to chase for. It's primary school food warmed up in a microwave. Our whole experience was poor and we've decided not to come back. It was my first time here and It was as bad as I make it out to be. If Universal Credit was a pub chain this is it.

With Sainsbury’s café now a thing of the past, we decided on a last-minute visit to Brewers Fayre—and I’m really glad we did. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the unlimited breakfast and drinks on offer this morning. The buffet had everything you’d want from a traditional cooked breakfast: perfectly cooked sausages (better than most places), fresh mushrooms, decent black pudding, nicely done bacon—not too thick—and good old baked beans. There were also plenty of extras like toast, crumpets, and even a tempting fruit and cereal section for a lighter start. The coffee machine was a highlight, using quality beans to make a great brew. Plus, there were multiple fruit juice options to choose from. For just £10.99, the value is brilliant—and the best part? It’s all-you-can-eat. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

Its a long time since I had been here , originally I used to take my children to the soft play . On this occasion I was taking my mother and her partner for lunch . I should start by saying that I have no problem with the food ( which was very reasonably priced and quick ) My problem is with the drinks and the staff member who served me . I asked for a pint of Coors and a pint and a half of Lemonade , the price came to £10 . After being charged the barmaid handed me two empty pint glasses , I explained that I had ordered a pint and a half ! , she handed me a half glass without mentioning the obvious difference in price between a pint and a half . She then directed me over to a machine that was 'help yourself ' . Now it may be that the drinks machine was unlimited top ups , which would justify the steep price , but I hadnt asked for that and it was never explained prior to charging me . As we were only having one drink , unlimited top ups were NOT what I wanted or had asked for. Some people reading this may feel that £10 for a pint of Coors and a pint and a half is very reasonable , but the point is I should of been offered the choice , or someone should have explained further . I contacted the owners of the Brewers Fayre ( which is almost impossible if using their website ) I left my name and contact details and no one bothered to get back to me . I wont be going back because obviously the owners of the chain dont give a fu@k about their customers opinions . Instead I will go to the shipwrights , which is only 150 yards a way next...

We booked to stay at the Premier Inn next door as we were in the area visiting family. We used the Wesdington for evening meals and breakfast.

Service 1/5 long waiting times we ordered mains and puddings, the mains turned up on 30mins but we had to chase up the puddings at 90minutes as we knew the kitchen was closing, we were then asked what we had ordered. The bar server (female) the most miserable individual I have ever come across, no welcome, no apology for keeping us waiting (we queued 15minutes to place the order) comments that the public could clearly hear about how bloody busy it was and how ridiculous it was that management weren't helping, the following morning whilst we were having breakfast she and another member of staff arrived in uniform to have breakfast too, no problem at all with that but they then spent the whole of their meal slagging off other members of staff.

Cleanliness 0/5 the toilets obviously hadn't been cleaned overnight and were disgusting with detritus and fluids on the floor, in addition outside the building was filthy, uninviting and had not been brushed for many weeks as the numerous cigarette ends testified. Surely, management is required to do a daily walk around to ensure standards are kept.

A really poor pub next to a good Premier Inn, based on the pub, we would not use this...
