First time I have been back in the Stamford since October and what a difference. It used to be a busy place in Stalybridge always buzzing at the weekend. When football was on at weekends dads who had children could bring them in and watch the match together, especially when dads have to share custody and only see them on weekends. In these topsy tervey times we all seem to live in these days, than you can do a lot worse than supping in the lords armpit! Whether your worried about the stalling progresion of our stumbleing economy or your down to your last tenner, there is always a reason to get bladdered in the lords armpit! Just dont use the toilets, they well stink, nip to spoons next door...

The Lord Stamford is a great place to enjoy some downtime. The beer is cheap and the range of drinks to choose from is great it caters to all tastes and pleasures.
