Karens Kitchen — Restaurant in Tamworth

Had the pleasure of meeting Karen in her cafe today. The food was delicious not Greasy at all was presented well and good to See proper thick bacon just beautiful. This is coming from a very fussy eater. The service is FANTASTIC very welcoming Karen is lovely and friendly. After having a rude experience at a previous well Known snack van this morning it was lovely to receive such a warm Welcome. We were staying 5 minutes down the road and looked for somewhere for a late breakfast before our 2 hour journey back to North Wales. Parking a bit tricky, but managed to park in the end. The 2 ladies were very friendly, welcoming and made the effort to chat to us. Service was quick, food and the cups of tea were great. Plenty for your money. Normally very good, but for 2nd time this year have been there and they've closed early. Advertise 2pm closing and you expect to get there half hour before that and be served, but twice they've been closed too early. Today though they offered to microwave some cold sausages before leaving...no thanks! Really hope that's no indication that they regularly microwave cold old food and...
