Namaste London - Indian Restaurant Caterham — Restaurant in Tandridge

I have been here twice now before I wanted to write a review so there is not any bias on just one visit.

Food is exceptional, very flavourful and very good portion sizes. I tried different dishes over the 2 visits. Everything is cooked to order so if you want something less or more spicy is can be easily accommodated.

The service is top notch, they will help you choose dishes to suit your tastes and they have dishes that are traditional and unique to the restaurant. The owner likes to come and check on customers and see if everything is okay and I have seen him on both the serving side and also in the kitchen cooking and tasting food before it is served as the kitchen has an opening to which customers on the dining floor can see through into.

Nice selection of drinks, good small and compact menu, other patrons are friendly and I like the small dining area as it gives a good vibe.

The bathroom is single occupancy but is kept clean and tidy.

In my photos of my 2 visits I have had the chattinad as a main and the other is the jalfrezi. I had the pilau rice on both occasions and my sides were bombay aloo and the other time was aloo ghobi.

Wpuod very much recommend and can't wait to head back...

Namaste catered for our daughters 'festival theme' 21st birthday. Kenny was great to work with and understood what we needed. He even invited us to the restaurant to 'try before we buy'. The food was delivered about an hour before serving, and Kenny provided all the containers that it came in. The food was delicious - samosas like I've never had before! - crispy onion Bhaji, paneer makhai, spinach kofta, butter chicken, dal makhani & tandoori broccoli . The pulao rice was gorgeous and it was all mopped up with generous amounts of naan. It was the perfect spread for 50 odd ravenous young (and older) adults! My only small disappointment was that they were meant to provide burners to go with the containers that the food came in. These did not arrive and although it remained warm until we served it, we did have to heat up two of the dishes on the stove. I would highly recommend Kenny and his team for your catering needs, we're looking forward to going to the restaurant to try out the rest...
