This was my third visit to Gurkha Restaurant, and once again, they went above and beyond to make our dining experience exceptional. The staff is always friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere every time we walk in. What truly makes this place special is the chef — he made a custom dish just for us that wasn’t on the menu, tailored to our own style, and it was absolutely fantastic!

The quality of the food is always top-notch, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. On top of that, we were treated to drinks on the house, which made the experience even more memorable. Every visit to Gurkha Restaurant has been a delight, and I always leave looking forward to my next meal there.

We had a family booking of 12 this Friday to celebrate my brothers birthday and we are glad we chose this restaurant for our first visit. The menu has a variety of Indian and Nepalese dishes as well as authentic chow mein and even had pizza available.

We ordered a variety of starters including papdoms and the king prawn purees were delicious as were the mixed grill we had as a starter. The mains were all very tasty and the lamb biryani we had with lentils was a hit with everyone. The service was very good and timely with well mannered staff and great management team all had a friendly welcoming smile and appreciated our custom.

Highly recommend this place for excellent food choice and warm service, we will be back as we travelled 45 mins to get here from Greater London. The interior was very nicely decorated too both warm and modern! Thanks all at...

I love curry and have never thrown one away... Until now! Since Velevety Ginger has been closed we've been doing the rounds to try and find a new curry house, with little success so far. This place just made bottom of the list!

Maybe their Nepalese dishes are edible but I would really think twice before ordering an Indian from here. The Dhansak and Tikka Masala were like nothing I've ever tasted before. The Dhansak was so lemony and bland and the Tikka Masala literally tasted like tomato soup! I don't even know how you could class them as curry, in all honesty. The poppadoms were also completely crushed and at £1 a shot I just don't think that's good enough.

Honestly it's the worst curry I've ever eaten, I'm afraid to say.
