Just pop in for a beer. Sunday Roast on next table look amazing and we decided to order as well. The portion was super big. Nice and crispy vegetables. Carrots were on the hard side which is my personal preference so credit to the chef for that. Place was full but we didn't wait for our dinner a long time. Very nice desert as well sticky toffee pudding 😜

Lovely little pub. Great idea having the game boards and trivia cards on the table too. Only suggestion would be to serve the gravey separately. Whilst my preference is for the Yorkshires to be drowning in the gravey, some of my family (the weird ones) are less enthusiastic.

We received a warm welcome in this nice pub recently renovated. The garden is very enjoyable in good weather and the breakfast was great! I highly recommend a stop here for a beer, a meal or both!

I travelled down from Norfolk to meet with old work colleagues on Friday for a dinner and disco. The service was so slow despite us Pre-ordering our meals, and as time got on we were worried about not having time to dance!

We didn’t have to worry, as there was no disco! We asked the team and they said the DJ/band alternates between their 3 venues! This was not stated in the brochure AT ALL (see screenshot). Then the excuse was that the DJ called in sick (which was it!?). If the latter was true, no one told us. They did not even give us the courtesy to call and tell us at 10am when the DJ had ‘called in sick’ so that we could have made alternate plans.

They accepted no responsibility for this, and only offered us £5 off vouchers when we next visit! Insulting. We weren’t even offered the portion of money back in the package that was allocated toward the disco! I can’t believe it. Myself and my colleague all work in hospitality and we were absolutely shocked and disgusted. If a DJ that we had booked for an event had cancelled, we would have either replaced the DJ, or notified all guests and given them the opportunity to cancel with refund or give them the money back for the disco so that they only pay for the meal.

They did not even offer us a refund for the slow service...we did not get our tea and coffees until 11.30pm (see photo with time stamp) and even then we had to ask for these, when they were included in our package. Also my ‘crumble’ resembled that of baby food, it was completely puréed! (See photo).

Reluctantly, after many of us complained, they took an insulting amount of money off the bill. But I’m still so disappointed because I traveled 2.5 hours for a party, had to pay for taxis, and hotels!

So if you have booked a party, please check that there is in fact a disco that night or you will be very...

Lovely little place, the food was ok just like any normal pub. Nice and clean toilets, sweet little section for us to eat in. I ordered the bbq ribs which were really nice, my partner had sausage and mash which he wasn’t too keen on but it was still nice, followed by a brownie which he really enjoyed. Not from the area, live by the seaside in Kent and thought the prices were going to leave a dent in my bank account but it was actually quite cheap. Really lovely staff, was staying in the Nutfield hotel and I wish the staff were more like the ones at the pub! Would definitely return if I’m ever in...

The pub itself was quite poncy. The food was okay. The whole experience was ruined by the miserable staff members. The bartender lady didn't listen to what I was ordering by pouring a whole pint instead of a half pint and was very unpleasant ....No "thank you","hello"...just grunts. After a painful start the waiter brought the chips to our table and again minimal conversation. Really basic and unwelcoming service suggested that only locals can expect a warm atmosphere in this place. Wouldn't recommend to anyone just...
