What a cool little place this was. Don't be fooled by the exterior as you may well turn around and head off as it looks shut up from the outside. The smell of food and the clinking of cutlery told me it was open and when I entered it was a warm and friendly atmosphere - and the dogs were allowed in! Bonus! We ordered from the plentiful menu and waited. The food arrived along with the delicious milkshakes the kids had ordered. The toast was great - farmhouse doorsteps with plenty of butter and the range of breakfasts didn't disappoint. Not the cheapest or highest quality ingredients I've ever had but it definitely filled a gap and tasted great. The toilets are bolted on outside and could do with a bit of an upgrade but they were clean and they were there! Would recommend this place if you're travelling by.

When we lived in Plymouth this was one of our stops if we were out on our bike 🏍 it was always good so when we came down from Bristol for a break we wanted a trip down memory lane. Definitely not as I remember it at all sadly 😔 the food has gone downhill despite a raise in prices the quality doesn't match ordered sausage and egg breakfast bap and bloomer the sausages tasted cheap and as for the coffee let's just say that they obviously don't know their coffee's so I have attached a picture of what a flat white is supposed to look like nothing like what we were served more like an instant. The service is the only thing that has remained the same. Such a pity because we were looking forward to coming here but safe to say we won't be returning

What's not to love? Great breakfast in a funky romany cabin. Cheap as chips and quickly delivered. Food was piping hot and plentiful and it's lovely to see somewhere offering tinned tomatoes with breakfast - a lost item on many breakfast plates! Toast was particularly nice, as were the mushrooms. Good views across the Vally.

So disappointed.... I've been bringing friends and family here for five years as the breakfasts have been second to none. Any another customer would completely agree. I'd been telling a friend for weeks about the awesome breakfast and especially the slice of bread from an uncut bloomer I think (your choice of bread & butter, toast or fried bread). The bread served to us was maybe 3mm thick.... And as we'd both chosen fried bread it was inevitably solid and over cooked coz it was so thin - fried bread needs to be soft in the middle!!! Needless to say he wasn't impressed on his first visit and I left with tail...
