Hello everyone, ive just been into the cafe and had a coffee and cake and the poor lady in the cafe is on her own and it looks like there is a coach party turned up and she had no help, all I wanted to do is help by collecting the dirty cups and trays and when I asked her if there was anyone that can help she said that the management had a day off. Typical management think that people can cope and you don't need help well how wrong they are. I know it's a bank holiday when you'd think that it would be staffed as it's one of the busier times because people want somewhere to go. They employ the dishonest tactic of “reserving” every table as a way to filter out guests they don’t want. Showed up at 5pm with my wife after a day of hiking in Humphrey woods. We probably looked a little rougher than we normally would but we were not dirty. They told us they were completely booked up but would “allow” us eat take away outside. What a fantastic place. So accommodating and friendly. The pizza was as good as anywhere I have been.
