Had a lovely evening meal here a few nights ago. it is well signposted and easy to find with plenty of parking by the main door. The atmosphere was spacious while still feeling cosy and the building is beautiful. We were greeted warmly by the waitress who really couldnt have done more through our meal- she was friendly and polite and answered all the questions we had about various dishes. The main menu wasnt huge (apart from the dessert menu which had so many options, it was hard to choose!) but there were more than enough choices for all our party- and we are not the easiest to please! The food came quickly and was fresh and hot and so yummy! Portions were more than generous and all our meals were cooked perfectly- i really cant fault any part of our visit. Will definitely be returning and 100% recommend

Fantastic hidden gem in the middle of an old pottery factory (maybe not so hidden for the locals). Our waiter, Tom, was absolutely delightful and incredibly helpful. Big shout-out to the chef for wowing our taste buds with delicious vegan dishes. The standout of our evening was the polenta ragout with wild mushrooms. The asparagus and tomato tart was also incredibly tasty. I topped off my culinary experience with a towering brownie cheesecake that made me leave this place a happy chap.

Went here after climbing on Dartmoor, highly recommend it. Super warm and cozy with a great range of vegan and gluten free foods too. It's tucked away in the house of marbles which was a nice surprise, we didn't expect to be going to a mini museum too. Great access and loads of parking, staff were wonderful 👍

We chose to have lunch at The Old Pottery Restaurant based on a recommendation and the positive reviews posted for this restaurant; sadly however, we were very disappointed. We hadn't had crab for many years and so the locally caught Brixham crab sandwich lunch appealed. Unfortunately it fell way short of our expectations. For ÂŁ16 I thought I'd get some crab meat in the sandwich, instead of which we had something more akin to crab paste, the like of which can be had cheaply from most supermarkets. The brown bread was almost too dry to consume, the portion of fries was frugal and the tomato sauce had either been watered down or was a cheap brand. The coffee was very bitter, probably over extracted by the barista. All in all a very disappointing lunch experience - in short and based on this, I consider the restaurant to be overrated and overpriced. We won't...

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with my lunch here recently. It is very poor for vegans - only two options on the menu a main (a Dahl) or a baguette (hummus and chickpea). As I didn’t want a big £16 meal at lunch time this left just the baguette. It was large, but lacked any flavour and was very dry. I couldn’t really taste the hummus as it was quite sparse. The coleslaw on the side was nice. Sadly my coffee tasted awful and I struggled to drink it - I got a cup of tea with oat milk after which was fine. The cakes however were better - two vegan options (these weren’t marked, you have to ask) and the cakes were very large portions especially for the price. At least the lunch...
