Essex Bakery — Restaurant in Tendring

When my husband and I began dating we bonded over our mutual love of brownies, and would spend many dates in search of the perfect brownie! Therefore when it came to choosing a wedding cake, the obvious choice was brownies - and boy did Essex Bakery deliver! We’d tried their brownies previously so knew the delight that was in store for our friends and family! Their communication and delivery however matched the quality of their brownies! We opted to have the brownies (and truffles and strawberries!) delivered at a suitable time, and roped in a family member to assemble the tower for us!

My only disappointment was that there were no brownies left at the end of the night for us to eat the following day - they were too popular!

We ordered a Brownie Tower as part of our dessert offering for our festival wedding on Saturday. The brownies were absolutely delicious, we chose Double Chocolate, White Chocolate Chunk, Honeycomb and the Raspberry and White Chocolate Blondies. Our guests loved the brownies and some even took a few back to their glamping tents for a midnight snack! Any leftovers were munched the morning after when our coffee van arrived for breakfast.

Gary and the team are friendly, super professional and easy to deal with. We will definitely be ordering brownies from Essex Bakery for our next event.

My daughter ordered these for my other daughter's birthday and they were REALLY good. I therefore ordered 12 to take to my sister's for Christmas. Sadly Christmas was cancelled but every cloud has a silver lining - we got to eat all 12 ourselves sampling three different flavours. Not only are they beautifully presented and really tasty but they also kept really well; still tasted fresh over a week after purchase. Ordering, payment and collection all very efficient as well.
