Feathers Restaurant — Restaurant in Test Valley

Quite a long queue (although we did visit during October half term!), would have been helpful to have a menu near the entrance to look at while you're queueing. Different food options from sandwiches (option of Toasted sandwiches), baguettes, jacket potatoes, basic salads and other hot food specials such as chilli con carne / curry. Food fairly pricey, but it was good. We paid £20.25 for a jacket potato with 2 toppings, a ham sandwich, 2 packets of crips, 2 soft drink cans and a small bottle of water 10/10 for cleanliness though inside the restaurant, even though it was busy the staff were on it with cleaning up tables and each table had a plaque you could turn when it required disinfecting which was a good idea. I know that a company needs to make a profit, but nearly £7 for 2 pieces of barely cooked and tepid bacon and a panini didn't really come close to value or quality. Food plates plonked on the table and were guided to the condiment trolley on the other side of the cafe to help ourselves. Don't get me wrong, when a cafe is busy, and the staff are working hard at their job, I would understand their plight, but...

The food in Feathers Restaurant is delicious. They have full meals, jacket potatoes, sandwiches and cake. Good choice of hot and cold drinks. The friendly staff are really good at getting lots of food out when everybody comes in at the same time from the flying displays.
