The food and coffee at this café were genuinely lovely — fresh and great quality. Unfortunately, the overall experience was let down by the service. There was a long wait for our food, and when orders were ready, staff seemed unsure who they belonged to, walking around asking “is this yours?” without explaining what they were holding. It felt quite disorganized and confusing.

When we tried to clarify our order, we were met with a sarcastic response, which was disappointing. Another thing to note — there was no baby change facility available, which made things a bit tricky as a parent visiting with a little one.

Popped in for the first time for coffee and a breakfast bagel for myself and my husband. They were so friendly and accommodating, the bagel was prepared fresh in store for takeaway and tasted divine. Coffee was hot and delicious. The atmosphere in the shop was so nice that I regret choosing to takeaway. I could have sat there all day. Such a delightful addition to Stockbridge highstreet and I can't wait to revisit. During the current cost of living crisis treating ourselves becomes a luxury however, the pricing structure at TJs was so reasonable and well within budget (especially with their extensive discounts available) that a a little treat is more than affordable. Really lovely little local business - excellent vibe and clearly frequented by a lot of loyal customers. Got the sense that the proprietors are pretty new at it but I may be wrong. Excellent lattes and a nice range of filled bagels. My only reason for four stars on food is the filled bagel was, despite 10min in the heating press, cold in the middle of the sausage and the American plasti-cheez was unmelted. But these very nice people run such a friendly place I could no more have complained than I could give them fewer than a five star overall review.
