Khan Spice — Restaurant in Tonbridge and Malling

PLEASE DO NOT EAT FROM HERE!

We where staying close by as a little birthday getaway and disappointed is an understatement I'm afraid.

Of the 5 dishes we ordered three where incorrect. I was then branded a lier when I called to explain this over the phone. One mistake we could have lived with but three was taking the p.... The guy made himself look like a total hypocrite when he looked on line and could see I was right and the website was incorrect.

The solution was to wait over an hour for only one replacement dish when three where incorrect, when we had already waited over an hour for food. The excuse was the delivery driver was off sick and they where to busy. We where offered 10%off next order when we live over an hour and 45min away! Not that we would have eaten from here again.

I think it's terrible how customers can be argued with accused of lying and left spent their money having to then go out and seek alternative food arrangements. I explained this to the man who wouldn't let me talk hardly, having a child and having to set off out at night in an area we didn't know on my birthday was so disappointing.

Not only all of this but the food was all over the bag and stained the table, the floor (as that is where it ended up before going in the bin) and our hands! We where staying in a glamping pod so I hope we do not get charged for this.

The food was terrible it didn't taste nice at all and I made a point of trying all of the dishes just so I could be clear in my write up. It was boring bland and nearly all incorrect.

Atmosphere was fab, staff great and friendly as well as helpful, food was amazing. I took my partner there 12th April as it was his birthday it was lovely until, the chap who welcomed us in and seated us offered us "complimentary" birthday drink that we would not have otherwise had, and after giving us the Bill for our meal took it back saying "it was incorrect", and put it up another £11 or so which after checking calculator on my phone turns out was the cost of the "complimentary" drinks!!!? Six of us visited Khan Spice on Sunday 10th August 2025 for lunch. We had a drink at a near by pub, The Man of Kent, on the river first. Inside the Khan Spice it was nice and cool in the air conditioning, as it was around 25 degrees outside. We choose the buffet for all of us and the food was superb, freshly cooked and full of flavour. The staff are friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend the experience to anyone.
