What an absolute real Gem of a café. The food was spectacular. I want to return today to have more. Have made plans to meet another friend there for lunch. Fresh food, fabulous portions. I choose the Feta frittata , with new potatoes and salad. It was spectacular. The salad wasn't just a few leaves but a mixed salad, with carrot, beets, Tom's, cucumber and offered 3 types of dressing. The potatoes were seasoned and warm and the frittata was warm to. Very impressed. My friend had a Prawn and Avocardo sandwich which was stuffed, and a beautiful salad. Coffee was strong and hot.perfect. and they had oat milk. Bonus. And sell Exmoor tea, which I love . The cakes looked amazing, but I couldn't eat any more that Lunch time. Satisfied lunch meal. Lovely friendly staff and owners, They should be proud. Love the local Art displayed. And the gardens surrounding the building. Will most definitely return. Lots. Thank you Fork'n'Feast. 😋😋😋😋

Set inside the castle walls you'll find Fork n Feast café just a short walk from the centre of Great Torrington next to the carpark. Great homemade food and cakes, good service, clean and value for money. Veggie options on the menu. Plenty of seating inside and outside in the private garden. Wheelchair access and parking no problem.

Tucked away in the Castle grounds opposite the car park and in the same building as the post office. Secluded garden. Good sandwiches. Highly recommend the king prawns. Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Relaxed atmosphere and great cakes.

Oh dear!! What has happened to this place. Menu has changed ( fair enough) but someone seems to be economising, we ordered toasted sandwiches, they came with a 'small' side salad, one slice tomatoe each and 'leaves obviously from a bag. Not much evidence of local produce there . Service was very slow, 2 tables who ordered after us were served before us. Even the one with lasagne which has a 20 minute wait were served before us. It took over half an hour to get 2 toasties..........yes it had been busy earlier but not when we arrived. Ham and pineapple toastie nearly failed trade descriptions with the miniscule bits of pineapple. Sorry 1646 you're no longer one of our...

We were passing through Torrington, and this happened to be next to the car park. It didn't look especially promising, but... what a brilliant place. Quiet, charming garden and excellent tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cakes. Most importantly, the girl that served us was utterly lovely - friendly, helpful and polite. Can't...
