Torridge Inn — Restaurant in Torridge District

Paul and I have been on holiday to Thailand a few times and have never experienced Thai food like you have at The Torridge Inn, we are addicted to the place !!! We have tried many different dishes here and they are all so good. Carl’s wife Nusa who does all the cooking is simply the best she makes it all from scratch in which you can tell as the flavours of the dishes here are amazing. Also you just say how mild or hot you like your dish and it’s made to your requirement . They also offer a takeaway service if you choose not to eat in again all made from scratch . If you like Thai food you will NOT be disappointed. We are made to feel so welcome here we absolutely love the place!...

If I could give Carl and Nusara (sorry about the spelling if these are wrong!) 10 Stars for this evening I would. These two are absolutely the type of people who make you think “were you born to do this?”

Great hosting by Carl, really funny and lovely guy, super welcoming and knowledgable of both the area and afar via his guests I presume, the food is out of this world and I’d have kept ordering if my stomach would have allowed.

I can’t wait to be back here and bring guests, I’m on a solo travel trip bikepacking up Britain at the moment and the experience as quite honestly sold me on coming back....

This place has by far the best Thai food around. We never go anywhere else. The decor may not be for everyone but I personally like it and it adds to the deceptive experience. The chef's food is amazing everytime and the front of house guy is so welcoming. Always willing to fit you in where they can if you've popped in on the off chance (always wise to book). Can't wait to come back. We really miss the curry...
