The food is amazing but service needs working on for sure…
Food 5/5: We opted for the mixed sushi platter. The chef is amazing because all of the sushi’s were incredible. Everything blended well together and the presentation was fantastic. The mocktails were up to high standards too.
Service 2/5: The service wasn’t that great which let us down. We came here before and the service was good maybe because it was only us there. But on our second occasion there were more people and I felt like they couldn’t cope with it (even though it wasn’t really busy). The first male waiter was very nice and apologetic no issues with him. The TV wasn’t working and we came here to watch the football game too. Eventually after some time he got it to work but we missed half the match by then. However, it’s okay because he was nice about it. Moving on, you have to pay before you get your food (wasn’t the case before) which we didn’t mind. They accepted cash. We then wanted another drink so paid with change, which we thought we could because the waiter before accepted cash before. Then, the lady manager with the turban (or some position of management) said we don’t accept cash, but we told her he accepted it before? Then after some discussion, I think she told the male waiter to come back to us to say we can’t take coins only notes. This was so stupid, why lie to your customers and say you don’t take cash then say we only take notes. You literally have a till, you just can’t be bothered with it that’s all. The male waiter was nice, however the attitude on the lady was sour she doesn’t know how to treat customers. I felt so bad for the waiter. Management needs sorting. Furthermore, there was barely any staff, stop being tight and hire more people. I shall digress for now.
Atmosphere 4/5: The aesthetics of this place is very nice and clean, super pretty. However, the music was too loud and they said they could only play the match on mute, which was annoying as other places don’t do that. Also the tv kept going off and on which was also a downer.
Overall: 3/5. I would try the place out for the food, because it is really nice. However, the service (talking about the management) needs sorting out. Unprofessional behaviour from...
Read moreIs this the worst shisha place in Manchester? Quite possibly could be. I took the mrs here as the place was plastered all over her tiktok and the decor is actually quite nice.
We waited around 30 minutes to get a table, which we didn’t mind as we didn’t have a booking and the place was very busy. After 30 minutes we got seated in an area that resembled a balcony in a council flat upstairs. Away from all the atmosphere and music. The waitress agreed that the area she seated us in isn’t ideal and even asked is this okay to which we both burst out laughing and said no. We waited another half an hour before we got seats in a better setting. Waited another 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive which were all wrong. The shisha came, it didn’t work there was no smoke coming from it as the hose was faulty. The coal person kept apologising and at this point I had enough and wanted to leave.
The manager with the receding hairline got very angry that I wanted a refund after they failed to provide an adequate service and said that customers with a booking get better treatment over walk ins. Now while I understand that bookings are prioritised as they should be, no customer should get preferential treatment over another. This is not you run a business. The manager was raising his voice in front of all his customers and people were looking, jokes on him. I got my refund and won’t be going back. One to avoid, they are also charging London prices. Goto Eminence in Oldham they’ll treat you nice there or any other place is better than this front they...

Dessert was a must, and the fudge cake was the perfect finale. With a warm, gooey center and served with a scoop of homemade vanilla bean ice cream, it was an indulgent treat that satisfied my sweet tooth without being overly heavy. The service throughout the evening was impeccable. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and was attentive without being intrusive.
