King William IV — Restaurant in Tunbridge Wells

I hate leaving bad reviews, but it wasn't great. We felt a bit unwelcome, as though us being there was a hassle, although they were busy. The menu was behind the bar and a bit confusing. I'm normally a gannet, but my chips were too salty to eat and the burger was average. Ventured here again, about fifth time? When last here had been done up. One of three pubs in Pembury village. Really nice with garden, 5/6 real ales plus great choice lagers. Now open daily from Noon and with a good menu (not Mondays). Had something to eat this time. Excellent and about £2/3 cheaper than other Pembury pubs.
