Anyone who suggests that this tastes even remotely like "Indian" food needs their heads examined as surely they havent been to a proper "Indian" restaurant and just tasted the shite that gets sold as Indian food usually here in the UK. Even compared to the shite that usually gets sold as "Indian" food in the UK this must be among the worst I have tasted in the UK or anywhere in the world. Most of the take away went in the bin as the over powering amount of food colouring and rubbish cooking was nauseating. Wouldnt go there again in this life time. Had to go hungry as most of it went in the bin as all the dishes I had taken home in my take away were so revolting in taste and colour. The staff were very friendly and the 1 star is for the staff and not the food. The owners would do well to fire the cooking staff ASAP and hire a beginner who just cooks watching youtube videos and even that food would be miles better than the rubbish presently dished out by the present cooks. I visited Khaans Restaurant on Doncaster Road and was blown away by both the food and the service. We started with poppadums and a pickle tray, and to our surprise we were also treated to complimentary onion bhajis – a lovely touch!

For mains, I had the lamb karahi Asian style with a garlic cheese naan, while my girlfriend went for the balti mushroom paneer curry with a garlic naan. Every single dish was packed full of authentic flavour, cooked perfectly, and served piping hot. The lamb was tender, the spices were just right, and the naan breads were fresh, fluffy, and full of flavour.

The service was absolutely spot on – attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely welcoming throughout. You can tell they really care about their customers.

I had the pleasure of dining at Khaans Restaurant in Wakefield, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff were warm, kind, and incredibly courteous. They welcomed us with smiles, promptly showed us to our table, and ensured we were comfortable throughout our visit.

The service was impeccable—they even checked in on us after we ordered to make sure everything was perfect and that we didn’t need anything else. It’s the little touches like this that make a dining experience truly special.

Now, onto the food! We ordered a pizza and a chicken burger, and both were incredible. The pizza was soft and bursting with flavors, while the chicken burger was equally delicious—juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection.
