The Black Swan — Restaurant in Wakefield

One of the bar staff was very Rood & actually bared us forusing a Vape.... we have been drinking in there for weeks.. when we first started drinking there we asked if it was alright for us to use the Vapes in there and we were told that it would be alright bcos everyone else does it but for some reason last night ir was suddenly NOT alright to use our Vapes in there. AND THERE ARE NO SIGNS UP SAYING NO VAPING EITHER......WE ARE DISCUSTED BY THE WAY WE WERE TREATED....... I dont want to tap ANY star but I have to to post this.... the place isnt worth...

Food and drink was excellent BUT atmosphere with my two kids (Very well behaved girls of 8 and 11) was a bit tense as regulars did not exactly make us feel welcome and we had to sit in small part of pub to eat our food because kids not allowed in larger (Much nicer part) that my two would have loved to have sat in and would not have caused...

As a local pub, this is certainly a top place to go. The landlord over the years has made a tremendous effort to cater for everyone. Darts, quizzes, cards tournaments and the like. Sports channels in every room, Bt, Sky sports, all catered for. Great selection of ales and lagers, well priced and efficient service. Well done...
