The Junction Inn — Restaurant in Wakefield

Long distance driver and our depot is just off the motorway junction... I've always gone to the rising sun for a pint but discovered somewhere to park in Normanton close to the junction inn and I promise its now my favourite place to be parked up Carling £3 a pint... Full of characters... music on... sky sports... just around the corner from takeaways... you can't beat it great staff and a really good yorkshire pub. Always busy everytime I've been not one of these pubs nowadays that shuts at 9 because nobody is in... if I could give 6 stats...

Apparently under new management, it's had lick of paint and they seem to be able to afford door staff. Shame they couldn't clean or repair the toilet that was disgusting, could smell sewerage all the way through pub. Bar staff were basically children letting their mates do handstands and pratt around on the floor. Pool table was covered up and DJ looked like he just couldn't be bothered. Not a good...

The bar staff were busy talking to each other she didn't notice she'd given me wrong drinks and got very stroppy when I told her I didn't want it she didn't even apologize for her mistake very poor customer service not surprised that the pub was nearly empty we won't be going back what a shame it used to...
