Love the decor of this place but I'm afraid the food wasn't that great. There were about 20 of us there for lunch. There was another small table of about 3 or 4 diners. We'd ordered the food before hand. We paid for our food before it was brought to the table. The staff were very organised. We didn't need to wait long for our food. Our table was booked for 1pm and we were there 15 minutes early. I had the thai fish cakes. They were dry and claggy with little flavour. I had the spicy chicken burger which had a few lettuce leaves and the breaded chicken in a bun with chips and a garnish. Again, it was all quite dry. We booked for a table of ten on a Sunday. We arrived at 1 and tried to order food at 1:30. They were only taking cash. All the pumps were empty They were serving coke out of big bottles bought from Tesco They had sold out of dinners. One of the burgers was so over cooked you couldn't bite it and when we asked for s replacement they told us they had run out. The steak was inedible. Three of us did have the BBQ chicken that was really nice. The toilets were dirty The tables were so close together I had to ask another family that were eating to move their chair so I could move my chair out. The only positive thing really was the young waited who was very sorry when we complained. Awesome service, very lovely bar staff. Unexpectedly went on karaoke night, the girl running it had a stunning voice my god. Wish the music was a little quieter earlier in the night, at 8pm it was hard to hear each other while eating food. As a vegetarian the staff kindly brought cheddar for my pasta instead of Parmesan. Toilets (ladies) were not well maintained that night, one was out of order, the other blocked leaving only one. Also I tried using Unidays to prove I was a student (as you have to sign into your uni account to validate it for the year) and they didn't accept it which I don't get.
