Pick & Shovell — Restaurant in Wales

A big group of us were on a walking weekend and stayed nearby. Maria was happy to accommodate us and sorted a preorder. Once we arrived we were immediately greeted by the friendly owners and asked if the table arrangements suited us. We were also asked when we would like our food to start being prepared. Popped for a few drinks and a meal. The inside has some really cosy seating available and it feels like you haven't left home. The outside area is lush, spent all of my time out there drinking and eating - I ordered the veggie burger & paprika fries and loved it so much I ordered a second. As always the Pic N Shovel never fails to satify the customer, it always has been a lovely cozy place with a warm atmosphere and welcoming staff. The food and drink is second to none, the quality is also of very high standards and if you do like a beer whilst watching some sports on a big screen then you'll be happy to know that some lagers are available at £2.50 a pint!.
