Beach Cafe — Restaurant in Wales

The food was very bland and massively overpriced. We had to leave a some of it. Chips were mostly hard. What bothered me most though was witnessing a foreign woman who I think I heard someone call Lucy or Lucia, something like that, come out of the kitchen and scream at a young boy who was cleaning the tables that he should be in the kitchen helping someone wash the dishes. The boy stood there, clearly very embarrassed but didn't say a word. When she went he turned to see if anyone had seen anything and saw me looking. I shook my head in disbelief and he smiled. She came back out and screamed at him WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING?? I felt so guilty. He told her that customers were listening and that customers were laughing at her shouting at him in front of them but she shouted again that they weren't. I wanted to go up and tell her that YES, he was right. But I was actually quite scared of her. She was very confrontational and aggressive. I was too cowardly to say something to her. But now that I am home I wish I had. What a horrible, nasty bully. Her behaviour, mixed with the fact that the food was horrendous, means that when we next go to the beach the most we will buy is an icecream. If you are the woman who works there and know that this was you, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF. Making a fool of that boy in front of people. Very unprofessional. If you wanted to speak to him then you should have asked him into the kitchen....

If there was a minus after today it would be that .your given a number when ordering your food.they gave our order to the customer served after us they were eating the chips and put salt and vinegar on them.then they brought another order out and gave it to the same table as their fish cake and other things were missing from what they were eating as we ordered 3 chips a sausage roll and 2 cups of tea.. we watched him give them the right order take our half eaten food back off them and took it back in to the cafe put it on the side went in to the kitchen to tell the manager he came back out picked the same tray up and went to hand it to us lol when we said were not having that he said can't I just give it to you? How is this place still open ? We had our money back and left. environmental health did go there they denied they were the same chips. But agreed the managers didn't come out. What they didn't know is while I watched from the table outside by the door the other menber of my party followed the staff in when he picked the food up from the other people and...

Given they could get a starlink for a proper internet connection and phone with VoIP and grow your business and make it more accessible. There isn't a reason to be cash only these days. The food is good and the service is good but the prices they charge can leave you caught out as it's cash only. Had fish and chips with the boy and the portion was great. The chips were high quality like you get in a restaurant. It's well worth a visit. Just make sure you got a large wad of cash if you take a random walk down the beach as this prevents on the spur of the moment food or even just grabbing a coffee while out venue as the lack of card payments. Seriously get starlink and make it more accessible. You can take bookings over the VoIP phone. Offer WiFi to customers with the code on receipts. Not turn away a group of 4 people who wanted food because they didn't have cash with a WiFi pdq. Your...
