Caffi Hen Crydd — Restaurant in Wales

Popped in on the way to Portmeirion for a breakfast, unfortunately, it was take away service only. So, we, my partner & I opted for a sausage & egg bap & a bacon & mushroom sandwich to take out. My partner first words were 'strewth', due to the size of his bap, 3 big fat meaty pork sausages, that he said were really tasty. I had the bacon sandwich, lovely thick fresh bread, packed with lovely thick tasty bacon & a gazillion mushrooms, it was huge. Now I always struggle, as I only have a small portion, my partner usually has the other half, even he struggled, so I had a half of sandwich left, which I happily ate for a late lunch 😋. We had a Bacon/egg toastie a bacon/egg sandwich a latte & a soft drink which we ate on the benches outside the cafe. The service was superb & the breakfast was out of this world! Quite simply the best toastie & sandwich we've ever had! Thick cut bread, thick cut bacon & great coffee. Next time we're in the area we'll be back 🙂 Lunchtime menu looks amazing as well & all at a very reasonable cost. The only slight downside is the limited parking on a busy road but with food this good we'd find somewhere to park!! A well...

No pics of our full English breakfast as we devoured it !!! The lady has adapted to the new covid & has a couple of benches outside, it was a chilly & damp August morning but the cafe was really busy, the lady was rushed off her feet serving & cooking all by herself, with a constant stream of people. She was so apologetic for the wait - but its all freshly cooked & was busy...with the thickest 3 slices of bacon! Bless she never stopped smiling 😃 I'd much rather wait for a decent, freshly cooked, hot breakfast...highly ...
