Wonderful pub and restaurant. We were visiting the beautiful Pembrokeshire area and booked Sunday lunch there at the end of June 25. The lunch was outstanding (can honestly say it was the best pub Sunday lunch I have had for a long long time a) food was hot, beautifully cooked and everything you could want for a Sunday lunch. We were so impressed we booked for Tuesday evening and wasn’t disappointed either. The belly pork was beautifully cooked as was the rest of the meal and plenty of it. The profiteroles as to die for! We then booked again for the Friday evening and as one previous reviewer commented the Gammon is absolutely delicious, well cooked and a very very filling meal. What more can you ask for! I would recommend booking though as they do get booked up, particularly at the weekend (and I can see why!). A big shout out to the staff too, who were friendly and professional and all with a high smile on their faces! Well done you guys, keep doing what you are doing, because it...

The B&B bit:|Good location if you can't find accommodation in Tenby. We stayed in room 2 (king room in adjoining cottage) which was nicely presented and well laid out but let down badly by a very uncomfortable bed (lumpy mattress), poor quality pillows, duvet and bedding. Good shower. Friendly staff. Good quality food at breakfast, although only cold choice was cereals.||The restaurant bit:|The food was OK - albeit the Steak pie had been nuked, the pastry & meat inedible (partial refund received), stone cold Doom Bar (should have been hand pulled), on the plus side my seafood basket was very nice. Average Sunday lunch which arrived completely smothered in gravy, which we were lucky to receive as 1 member of staff told us they had run out of food until the Manager appeared & told her we were residents & there was food left!!! (not a good start to...

This place is a real find! The food is amazing home cooked, tasty and fresh. The chips are proper home cooked chips. In fact all we had was freshly prepared and not out of a packet at. No pink deep fried meals in this place. Steak night is Thursday night and you get a steak with all the trimmings and a drink. The menu selection is fantastic with special boards too and is very fairly priced. In comparison to cheap pub grub it's more expensive but you get what you pay for. Average meal is about £11. Great selection of wines and ales and good but small gin selection. It has rooms if you want to stay. Dogs are allowed in the downstairs dining and the beer garden is a good size with a kids play area. Definitely worth a visit. Plus the garden has views of the castle

We telephoned the Carew Inn around 4.30pm to ask if they were still serving food, we were told that 5.30pm was the start time so we booked a table and arrived at 5pm . We received a very warm welcome, and had a nice table by a log fire, which was perfect after a long walk up on the cliffs... Our meal arrived by 5.20, I had homemade parsnip soup, which was so tasty, followed by salmon in leeks with fresh vegetables ..all tasted absolutely amazing ! The staff here are so friendly, extremely polite and very helpful. Thank you 👍 We will definitely come back again the next time we visit Tenby.

I came looking for a proper Sunday Lunch and was certainly not disappointed. I had the pork which was excellent and the absolute mountain of food served with it definitely hit the spot! The cheesy leeks were particularly good, but nothing I was served was anything less than delicious. A pudding was included in the meal price, and I have to say I had to leave a full half hour before I could even attempt it! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, managing to be very attentive without being overbearing. Would thouroughly recommend a visit.
