Cat Rock Cafe — Restaurant in Wales

Arrived at 9:15 for breakfast venue was extremely quiet. There was one couple inside and one couple out on the terrace. When we arrived we were advised that it was sausage or bacon baps and nothing else. Another couple arrived who ordered full English breakfasts and two other couples were also eating these lovely looking breakfasts whilst we had the baps. We were not residents or golf members and therefore were made to feel like we were not good enough to be offered the full dining experience. The baps and coffees were great however, they should make it clear on their websites etc what is available for non members or non residents. We drove a 30 mile round trip for an average breakfast served by two very friendly waitresses and stunning Panoramic views. We visited last week for breakfast. The setting is beautiful, over looking a gorgeous beach. Full English breakfast was £11 which we’re happy to pay, but a bit disappointed with just one sausage and one egg. Bread was burnt and one pot of beans to share between two. Expected a bit more for our money. No mushrooms.. but seen other reviewers had mushrooms? No one came to check how our food was or we would of mentioned about the burnt toast (which was quite obvious, being black)

We both left hungry!

Interior was nice, just a shame about food quality and quantity...

Popped in here for lunch today with my wife.

I have the Cajun burger with fries and a lovely pint of lager.

My long-suffering wife had the dirty chips with the brisket, beef topping and cheese. All food was lovely and portions were generous.

Special mention to Meg who served us today. She was very polite and her service was excellent. The place also lets you take your dogs into which is brilliant as it’s just next to the beach.

It’s a bit off the beaten Track But well worth the effort to get to the venue. Will...
