Cegin Harri’s Kitchen — Restaurant in Wales

Signs saying dogs welcome so we went in with our very well behaved dog. There were people already seated. My wife stood at the counter waiting to be served and the rest of us sat down. Our dog was wagging his tail and it touched a woman who was seated opposite and she immediately complained. Meanwhile, though there was no one else waiting to be served, my wife was still being ignored by the woman behind the counter. 2 minutes she stood there to be ignored. We left and went elsewhere. During our stay in the village we mentioned what had happened to another local person who came over to make a fuss of our dog and we were told, in their words not ours, 'they don't like the English in there'. I can't personally say that this is the reason we were made feel unwelcome but whatever thr reason was, the place doesnt deserve to survive with...

Harri's is a small cafe in Menai Bridge. The staff are really friendly and go the extra mile for their customers. After going on 2 separate occasions, I can confirm the food is great. Nothing too fancy, just good food that hits all the right spots. The coffee and local beers are excellent and it allows them to cater to a wider range of customers.

All in all, I definitely recommend Harri's to anyone looking for a coffee/beer and bite to eat in...

I'm portuguese and I lived there for 6 years. Now that you know this, please believe me when I tell you that the only Portuguese thing in that restaurant are the skewers (espetadas).
