Chopstix – Haven Hafan y Môr — Restaurant in Wales

Foods nice, service can be slow if busy but that's more because of people not knowing what they want.

Its basically like subway but chinese... dont let them scrape that burnt rice out of the bottom of the tray though, you pay well over the odds for nice fresh food not burnt crispy stuff :) so ask for fresh!

Dont bother with the chopstix app either, there are QR Codes actively asking you to download it for points and free spring rolls however, when you get to the till, the chopstix app isnt accepted and they were shocked to find the QR codes link to their app (not Havens) - still wouldnt give me the free spring rolls either ha - also the Haven app even promotes downloading the chopstix app!

Anyway, the food is nice and if you go when its quiet, you get more food but dont expect it to be like your local chinese takeaway as its not, your paying the same price for a fraction of the food but its nice and worth it.

Staff are nice too! And patient...

We had such a fantastic experience at Chopstix in Hafan y Môr — and that’s all thanks to Elle and Harry, who were absolutely amazing! They were not only friendly and helpful, but had such an incredible sense of humour that genuinely made our day every time we visited.

Elle and Harry brought such positive energy, making the whole experience feel fun and personal. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with — kind, engaging, and just so full of life. It’s not every day you meet people who leave such a lasting impression, but they truly added something special to our holiday.

Great food, great vibes, and exceptional staff — thank you both for being the highlight of our dinner! The food is just incredible and always so fresh, I wish they would bring back the Chinese Chicken curry though! Was so disappointed to see the menu change, but we cannot WAIT to...

Visited Chopstix not once but twice on our holiday “so far haha” due to how great the food and service was. Friendly staff, great all around. Can’t remember the names of staff but we went 24th and 25th between 4:30pm and 5:30pm both days and the staff were great, helpful when ordering and friendly. Thank you Chopstix Hafan! Great value for money in my opinion! Really recommend the K-pop chicken, the Salt and pepper Chicken and the Sweet and Sour Chicken. The Katsu pieces and sauce are great too. The spring rolls are yummy!
