Dropped into the @cwmivy as we were passing after a 2.5 hour walk. The promise of a beautiful view and some cold drinks pulled us in. We had a coffee, a couple of cold drinks and a tea. The coffee was decent but the tea was a little tepid (hence the drop to only 4 stars), that said it was well presented. By all accounts it was a busy day for them, (based on the conversation we heard from the staff) and the wait for the drinks was not too long, but when you have the view that they do from the garden it's nice not to be rushed. The staff were young but polite, and there is scope for this place to be really busy in the summer months. Check it out if you're not in a rush, enjoy the location, but most of all enjoy contributing to the local economy. I think if visited this place on a beautiful day out of season you would put it down as a 'real find'.

Beautiful location overlooking the salt marsh, had a nice cup of tea, coffee and some home made, home grown tomato and sweet pepper soup! Husband had a pumpkin flapjack, said it was top notch! Dog friendly, cute little cottage garden, indoor and outdoor seating. Other food available and dog ice cream too! There's a car park further up the road (quite a steep but short walk) with a honesty box at the gate for payment. Love to pop in here after a walk down to the beach!

Lovely setting and views. Brilliant stop off after our walk on the beach. Was quite popular and we were able to sit with the dogs looking over the marshes. Had a lovely hot chocolate and my mum had a tea. They served panninis and ice cream I believe and probably other things! We would re visit if back in the area. Also a fab free car park just outside the village. Short walk down hill to the village.

Stopped for well earned lunch on Saturday after a long walk back from the lighthouse. It was a lovely sunny day so fab views from the terrace. It was very busy with a couple of large walking groups already seated in the garden. Staff were friendly and working hard to get orders out and reduce waiting time. Coffee was great and although the menu seemed a bit restricted, the baked potato and panini were delicious.

There is only one toilet…shed at the bottom of the garden which inevitably had a 2-3 person queue, perhaps some improvements here?….Maybe add another...

I love this place! Stayed twice now and I'll be back again. It's spacious and warm and well equipped and the setting is perfect. It's dark and quiet at night making it ideal for peaceful retreats, and for social get togethers. During daylight the walks around here are epic with woodland, sand dunes and beaches right on the doorstep. I could go on and on! Suffice it to say though that I love it here and highly recommend a visit. But book early as all spaces are taken almost as soon as they...
