Bad restaurant I ever had. We came from London to St Clare for a short holiday. We were so tired with long journey. We thought to have dinner there before going to the hotel. They brought us the menu after thirty minutes of being there. Therefore, we thought to take foods and go to the hotel as we really need a rest. But they didn't care and listened what we want. The manger/owner argued with us that we can't do so and touched my husband's body when arguing. He treated us badly using discriminative words. We ended up paying for pappdam and their bad service. I can't give them at least one star. He treated us that much badly. He dirts the lovely country side of Wales
I further noticed that they charge differently for take away and eat in. Eat in prices are higher than takeaway. They say that they don't charge for their service. However, there is a hidden charges for that.
Specially, I don't recommend this place for St...
Read moreWe regularly visit the guys here, we always are impressed with the quality of the food and the care Hussain takes with the presentation and detail in service is very good, he pushes his team to take the same level of care. I absolutely love the Nagaria curry, it's very warm thick sauced dish. I must admit I have tried everything on the menu by now and I keep coming back to this one. Charlie who looks after the kitchen really is an excellent chef, many times he's tried something out new with us that he's thinking of and it's been amazing. Even when he's shared the meal that the guys in the kitchen are having it's been amazing flavors. Clearly we come here a lot, but what I will say is the restaurant seats around 40 people and if a large party turns up at the same time as a few couples or groups of four then you do notice a drop in service as they just have...
Read moreI recently dined at the award-winning Indian & Bangladeshi restaurant in Carmarthen, Wales, and the experience was nothing short of disappointing. I ordered Chicken Biriyani, which lacked salt and flavor. When I voiced my concern, the server dismissively claimed that's how it's served, leaving me with no choice but to discard the dish.
The Chicken Roganjosh was an entirely different letdown – the delivered dish bore no resemblance in looks, taste, or flavor to authentic Roganjosh. Living between London and Birmingham, where Indian & Bangladeshi cuisines thrive, this restaurant's performance is baffling. I question the standards of the awarding bodies that label such establishments as top-notch; the food here was simply pathetic.
I won't be recommending this place to anyone seeking a genuine and satisfying culinary...
