I spent a week on Anglesey visiting some top-rated chippies, and Enoch’s Fish & Chips was a standout. Parking was easy, with a small free car park beside the shop. There’s outdoor seating, and inside it’s spotless, well designed, and welcoming. The staff were super friendly and polite. All packaging was environmentally friendly and well thought out. The haddock was chunky, fresh, and flaky, in a light crispy batter. Chips were golden and crisp with soft centres. The gravy was thick, smooth, and subtle—good enough to earn one of my rare “OH!” moments. Mushy peas were just right, thick with proper pea flavour. The curry sauce was slightly sweet with a gentle kick. Tartare sauce had great flavour and balance without being overdone. The fish cake was one of the best I’ve had—plenty of fish, light herbs, and a crisp batter, perfect with the tartare. The breaded mushrooms were delicious, and even more impressive knowing they grow their own—fresh as it gets and cooked beautifully in a light, crisp coating. 🟠 Cooking in: Oil 🟠 Payment: Cash or Card 🟠 Hygiene Rating: 5 🟠 Fish Reviewed: Haddock đŸŽ„ See the full video review on The Chippy Tour YouTube channel

While visiting the area, We had our chippy tea here today. I ordered online and picked it up at the designated time slot. On arrival there were customers queueing outside which is a good sign usually. The restaurant looked cleaned and tidy. The staff were cheerful. Between us, we ordered a cod, haddock, scampi and the fillet. All with chips as meals. Although his place has raving reviews it’s not a place I’d try again. The chips were hard and well done. The fishes was extremely greasy and the batter was hard and crunchy. Its obvious some like it like that but not for me. Worth trying if in the area.

Me and the lads were on a road trip and we’ve been to various fish and chip places across Wales. This has to be the best we have ever tasted. The fish was so nice and crispy but soft inside we were in disbelief. The chips were also very spot on. The service however , was the best part of the meal. All staff were very friendly and helpful - gave us plenty of time to decide on what to eat and even let us taste the salt and pepper squid ! Amazing lads thank you

Staying in the Valley at our friends house for a holiday. They told us that if we wanted fish and chips then Enochs was the place to visit so here is my review. Interior looked fresh and clean and I was greeted by a young lady with a friendly smile who took my order.2 fish a portion of chips and a carton of peas.I had to wait 10 minutes but hey if you want freshly cooked fish and chips then it's worth the wait.Fish was cooked in a light batter and was nice and white and tasted delicious. The chips were a lovely golden brown bit not too hard. All the food was piping hot. Will visit again before we return home.So if you are looking for quality fresh and tasty food then look no further if you are travelling to Anglesey. I took a couple of photos for my review I hope you...

We were just looking for somewhere to get fish and chips while close to the coast. We stumbled across this place as it was the closest listed on Google Maps. The location, presumably on the old A5, didn't look particularly auspicious. However, this place was terrific!

We enjoyed their lunchtime snackboxes. Our small group of 3 had the cod and chips and the fishcake and chips, both of which came which mushy peas (or gravy or curry sauce had we preferred). Even paying for big pots of ketchup each, it was still only 12 GBP total -- and the chip portions were huge.

The set-up was Covid-secure and the staff were super polite. The customer toilets were accessible and uncommonly clear. We sat at the tables...
