Florries fish and chips — Restaurant in Wales

Ordered a piece of Cod and a Chicken and mushroom pie and chips. Couple of minutes wait, it was 1pm and there was a queue. And we received a cracking order. The fish was fresh, cooked to perfection with light batter. The pie was great and the chips fluffy and crispy too. Sat in a small shelter by the side of Florries and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. OK, price is very slightly higher than average. We paid £25.80 for 3x cod & chips with 3 cans of drink (probably no different to other seaside places though I guess!)

However, the price was totally justified...... I don't know what the unhappy reviewers had (or expected) but all 3 of our cods were perfect. The fish was soft, tender and well cooked and the batter was delicious. Lady who served us was incredibly rude, the man who served me wrote down my order wrong which wasn't an issue as I didn't mind politely telling the lady when she gave me my food that it wasn't correct however she responded as though it was my fault and refused to believe that they got it wrong.
