"Ology? He gets an Ology and he says he's failed..."* I'm a fan of "Tasteology" cafe in Birmingham (please do visit) so when I asked Google for an aprés run brunch and it offered the weirdly located Foodology Kitchen... Now I visited the location makes complete sense and I'll certainly detour again. Arriving at 12:30 I was worried I'd not get a seat but a table was quickly found and coffee arrived shortly after. I had the Philly Cheese Steak - I'm not sure Americans would recognise this as the genuine article - I think it's much better than I had at the King of Prussia Mall near Philadelphia - with peppers and a perfect chilli heat. Cheese sauce comes separately. Brilliant. It's all cooked in front of you in the open plan kitchen. The menu warns that as everything is cooked to order you may have a wee wait at peak times - mine arrived in about 15 minutes. *https://youtu.be/NK5-2fPyCjA?si=43t_aT2ZO5nwh5NB

The breakfast was cold and it took almost an hour to take order and to serve food as we were the second customer in the shop. We notice 2 other customer and 4 customers were served first. When I asked the guy at the cashier why the food is late, he was giving reason that it was vegan. You can see above the photo of the food served, which is vegan and sausage was not cooked properly and cold. He said the food, whichever is faster, will be served first. But my partner food was not vegan, and it was late. And the other table beside us one person got their food first then the rest later so why not for us. He did even bother to apologize like we were lying. Hope this is not racism. Please treat all customers equally and show kindness. Learn that! What goes around will come around.

My first visit today with a friend, very modern inside and also spotless throughout. Lovely staff warm and welcoming. I sadly won’t be returning to this eatery due to their very over priced food items. My large breakfast came to £14 something that’s with coffee also added on. My friend had a mushroom omelette which cost her £9 without a drink. I do think it’s a lovely cafe the food was lovely but my money goes to Toastys cafe in beddau every time I’m sorry. Its just a much better value breakfast at Toastys for a reasonable price including coffee and much more on the plate. Better the devil you know! I tried it at foodology today as I wanted to for so long, but I will not be returning sorry. I know that things are going up in the world and business need to up their prices to survive and there is so much competition with cafes, but this is the most expensive eatery for a breaky around church village beddau Talbot green area, and it isn’t right or fare when most cafes charge less for the same or more itemed...
