Coach house cafe — Restaurant in Wales

After pondering if I should make this or not overnight this is what happened to us yesterday about 11 30 ish my son and I when to the coach house cafe for food my son had full breakfast I had ham egg beans chips coffee,s must say food was nice when one of the waitress,s came to clear the table she asked my son if he liked the sauce which was a bit left on the corner of the plate thinking it was just a bit of banter from her we said yes very nice when she returned to the kitchen with the plates this is what we overheard look at this it's a waste all this sauce another person said my son likes alot of sauce with his food then another said that is piggish and it went on from there we then said let's go not being happy what we overheard on the way out I did tell one of the staff we overheard what was said in the kitchen and was not happy with it if this is how you treat your customers this is one that will not be back not only me but the others that normally come along as well just not happy...

This is one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a greasy spoon. The service is beyond shocking, I didn't realise that we had a 'Karens' cafe here in llantrisant. The women behind the counter Phyllis has the manners of a wooden plank.. non existent, she obviously wasn't brought up correctly to not even have any manners whilst serving customers, please,thank you does go a long way but to be so rude it's unbelievable.. the only reason to go there is to see how hilariously rude an individual can be. The food is poor quailty at best and its fair to say I won't darken that door again. There are plenty of other places in the area where they treat you as a customer not something stuck to your shoe !!! One star was too...

The food is lovely and the majority of the women serving are too. However that is where it ends. The reason for such is low score is that the lady at the front desk was utterly disgusting; her manners, her attitude and the plain insults that she was hurling towards the customers were outrageous. It was a clear attempt at her pretending it was 'banter' but it was evident of the shock and upset she was causing to customers created an awful atmosphere. I really feel sorry for the other staff members who have to be around this toxic behaviour day in and day out. Good...
