I have been to Indian Empire quite a few times now but only recently they have started doing a buffet 7 days a week in the restaurant as well as being able to order from the main menu. I gave the buffet a try this time and it was delicious! So many great curry’s to choose from as well as a selection of side dishes. I always tend to get a bit nervous with buffets as they can often feel unclean but not at Indian Empire, it was spotless! The staff were in and out cleaning the space and replenishing the dishes! The food was nice and hot inside the metal containers. We also ordered Roar beer from the draught to compliment the food! 🥘 🍺

Wow wow wow! This place lives up to the best curry in Wales and I can see why people rave about it. The food was impeccable, affordable and unbelievably tasty and the service was perfection. We loved the meal and the atmosphere. Only thing.. please put garlic and cheese naan on the menu 😉! Thank you - we can't wait to return!!

Absolute disaster of a meal. Honestly, I’m not sure they even know what Indian food is—might be worth them taking a trip to Delhi and coming back with a clue. Waited 1.5 hours for something that tasted like a bad microwave meal. Service was non-existent, yet they still had the audacity to ask for a tip. Avoid at all costs.

We had been here a couple of times before and received mediocre service but thought we'd try again. We were seated near the back of the restaurant and almost ignored while the staff talked to and served people who were clearly regulars. The restaurant wasn't very busy at all, two tables were being used when we arrived and a further three were used after we arrived. We felt rushed to order our mains after just starting to eat the poppadoms.... the mains left a lot to be desired. The sign outside the restaurant claimed "Probably the best curry in Wales".... we disagree. There were constantly flies walking across our table, window, buzzing around our food and a moth dropped from the ceiling onto our table right were my partner's starter plate was, luckily the plate was taken away and we weren't eating at that time. After finishing our mains we were offered the desert menu, after reading through it for 2 minutes we then had to wait to be served a further 15 minutes to order our desert. After finishing we found ourselves waiting 20-25 mins just to pay our bill while watching the staff clear and re-set multiple tables, serve new customers and continue to give the "regulars" priority service. We watched three tables of people who came in after us, get served and then have their bills brought over, pay and leave before they even acknowledged that we were waiting at all. After nearly 25 minutes, we ended up walking up to the bar area to pay the bill, where we were made to feel very unwelcome and rushed out of the restaurant. The "regulars" seemed to have the friendly service all evening while we were made to feel very unwelcome in there. Safe to say we won't...

This place has some mixed reviews, and fair enough, each to their own, but I have to say that myself, my wife and our 7 month old son absolutely loved our visit here for her birthday this evening.

The food was absolutely top notch, every dish was super tasty, obviously freshly cooked, presented beautifully and as many others have said before me, the portions are grand!

The service could not have been any better either, from recommending a wonderful main course for myself, to keeping our drinks topped up, and even the small touches like holding the door open for us to get the pushchair out, our every need was met.

We both loved the extra attention to detail such as warm towels, chocolates with the bill, and to top it all off, a small gift from the manager, for which I am very grateful!

Admittedly we went on a Tuesday evening, so the restaurant was quiet, but if we are ever back in the area we won’t hesitate to eat here again.

Thanks for a thoroughly...

I needed to organise a huge take away order for a birthday celebration whilst we were staying in an area I didn't know well. We also needed to accommodate some dietary requirements as we had guests who are vegan and dairy free.

A friend of a friend recommended Indian Empire and I emailed them to ask if they would be able to assist.

Mr Uddin was extremely gracious and helpful and when we finally came to placing the order and he organised everything from putting the names on each box to correspond with which guest had ordered the dish to carrying the food to our car.

The service from other staff whilst we were waiting to collect was fantastic, the menu was good value for money and when we finally got home to eat the food was delicious.

The restaurant itsself has a car park which makes dining or food...
