I occasionally visit this KFC. My visits tend to be latish (after 8pm) as I pick up some food following my weekly visits to the local climbing wall. Usually I avoid here and go to the lovely ship shop a few doors down but occasionally I fancy something different and attempt to get some food from here.
And honestly I ALWAYS regret this decision. I'm writing today about my latest visit to this shambles as it's juts pushed me over the edge. So I entered the KFC and started looking at the menu. The person in front of me was complaining that he'd been given the wrong food. I tried the self service till, didn't seem to be working. So I waited my turn. the only people in the shop were me, the guy complaining and a bored delivery driver slumped in the corner looking at his phone.
After a while of waiting I popped out to see if my wife wanted anything. She didn't. I re-entered.
The complaining man had now left so I walked up to the counter. the member of staff at the counter was facing away from me talking to the staff behind. I waited, and waitied....and waited. the guy serving looked over his shoulder, saw me, great, I put started thinking about what I was going to order,.....Nothing, he just turned back and continued his conversation. I looked around at the piles of chips on in the bin, the mess of half finished burgers and just walked out. A woman and child had entered behind me, I told her not to expect much.
I'd love to say this is an isolated incident, it isn't. The staff are far too busy have "bants" with each other to give a c**p about customers. It's ALWAYS a mess. It's recently had an expensive looking facelift, still doesn't cover up the poor food hygiene.
A common issue I've had here seems to be a distinct lack of food...Mainly if you enter towards the end of the day. Like I said I tend to go quite late. I've been turned away on at least 2-3 occasions because "We've got no chicken". Usually this is towards the end of shift and it seem obvious that the staff basically would rather get off early and the quickest way to achieve that is to turn customers away.
I keep telling myself this establishment really doesn't deserve my custom which is categorically true. I'm sure I'll be occasionally tempted to brave the bored teenagers/30 something supervisor who acts like a teenager on occasion for "a change" but I'll always tell everyone I know that KFC Queensferry is literally the worst take away...

HER REPLY WAS SHE IS TOLD TO SAY MACHINE IS BROKE. HER ATTITUDE IS e.g. WHATEVER. SHES IN THE WRONG JOB ! . FINDING A CLEAN TABLE TO SIT AND EAT IS IMPOSSIBLE AS STAFF NEVER KEEP ON TOP OF CLEANING SHOP FRONT. TOILETS ARE DISGUSTING. ITS LIKE A YOUTH CLUB FOR TEENAGERS WITH BAD LANGUAGE WHO BRING THERE OWN DRINKS IN AND DON'T EVEN BUY ANYTHING . NOT A PLACE FOR FAMILIES TO EAT ANYMORE. THIS PLACE DONT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR.    Read moreWorst KFC I have ever had the misfortune to use. Avoid at all cost. If you can visit the one in Chester or Mold do this instead (even if it means extra wait time for delivery or extra travel time to pickup/eat in) neither one has ever messed up my order, charged me too much for the wrong item, lost my order in the system, accepted my order for delivery and never delivering it (Deliveroo) and most recently delivered me the wrong order resulting in me losing out on over £40 (UberEats). I'm done, will never visit this KFC again, just glad there are other options. UPDATE: I did get a refund from UberEats, but still lost out on £10 of admin and delivery fees which they will not refund, so thank you for giving the driver the wrong order Queensferry KFC, well done for mistaking a small bag consisting of a salad, fries and gravy for a large bag with a 10 piece family feast in it. Hope who ever got my order enjoyed it at least, wasn't the salad they wanted but certainly a bargain considering for what they paid. They lucked out thought, the salad didn't look very...
