What a surprise! If you told me before I visited that I'd be enchanted by an ex Little Chef at the side of a busy main road I'd have said you were absolutely nuts.

Little Chefs were basic box buildings, like a British version of an American Diner, not an elegant place to have a meal . AND an Indian restaurant is supposed to be red flock wallpaper and heavy dark furniture . Not this one folks!

To be absolutely honest if you concentrated you could see the skeleton of the old LC but it was made light and airy with floaty cream drapes and a multitude of glittering light fittings. Light boxes threw interesting shadows from behind the piecework. Who needed to eat - I was too busy looking at all the bling .

The meal was beautifully cooked and presented . The waiting staff couldn't have been more helpful . In constant motion they where here, there and everywhere but never intrusive.

The poppadom and pickle tray was the nicest I've ever tasted . I would have been content with just that.

The menu gave lots of information about the dishes which enabled one of us to make an informed choice . We won't go into the other choice except to say it was still absolutely gorgeous. (He promises to pay attention to the indication of heat next time we go ! )

And go again we will . And so...

From the moment you walk into little Indian chef you know you’re in for something special. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a perfect balance of elegance and comfort. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, making you feel welcome from the start.

Now, let’s talk about the food—simply outstanding! Every dish is beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The ingredients are clearly fresh, and the attention to detail in every bite is impressive. Whether you’re indulging in a perfectly cooked steak, a fresh seafood dish, or a creative vegetarian option, there’s something on the menu for everyone.

The service is impeccable—attentive but never intrusive. The waitstaff is knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations. And don’t even get me started on the desserts—absolute perfection!

Overall, little Indian chef id a true hidden gem that deserves all the praise it gets. Whether it’s a special occasion, a date night, or just a casual meal, this place will exceed your expectations. Highly recommended!

This restaurant is very impressive when you walk in. Lovely decor & plenty of space around each table. The staff are friendly & helpful. The problem is that there are so many waiters there being managed by one in charge that it was not a relaxing experience. We felt that they didn't need bossing about as they were lovely, helpful & were doing a good job without being directed here there & everywhere by this "Manager" We only had poppadoms & chutney to start as previous experience has taught us that these are enough for us as we get older ! If we have starters we are full & don't enjoy our main courses The main courses were very nice & generous portions. We shared a Tandoori mixed grill that came with a medium vegetable curry( not really to our taste) & pilau rice . We also ordered a Vegetable Korma & a Peshwari naan. Overall we enjoyed our meal tbough it was a tad exoensive at just under £50. This included a coke & a Cobra beer too. We will look forward to a return visit...

Overall a good restaurant for Indian cuisine with good ambience and service. Also the menu is one of the best well-documented menu with clear labels for allergens, description of varieties of curries etc Pros + good indian curry collection + varied vegetarian options + menu with proper labels and guides (kudos to the creative team) + good service + ample parking + waiting space + comfortable seating + decent degree of customization available Cons - while its subjective, the taste and preparation could be more authentic (like spices could be more balanced in food items) - paneer Tikka was very rubbery (not well cooked) - no kids engaging stuff like a quiz or a drawing sheet to keep them engaged (So that parents can have meal in peace 🙂) Overall a good option

What a lovely place to enjoy a quality authentic Indian dish in beautifully decorated surrounding with polite, fast and friendly service. I love Fruity Currys and had Kashmiri Chicken on Kashmiri Rice with Perswari Naan whereas my wife enjoyed a masala dish and we were very impressed. You can see for yourselves, the dining experience from the photos supplied and the wide ranging menu is excellent. It's located just off the A55 near Llandudlas on the way to Rhos on Sea its great, give it a try for yourself.

Vegan food was no problem The chef made me a vegan mushroom baji, aloo potato and mushroom rice, all very nice indeed. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, surroundings are comfortable. Most of the restaurant is on one level, the same a the car park, with some seating up a slight slope. The restaurant is just off the A55, with plenty of free, on-site parking. The disabled toilet was clean and is well equipped. Highly recommended.
