Louchi's Tea Room — Restaurant in Wales

This is a cafe in the intimate mode of spacial management. It's founding Italian roots shine through in panelled walls and soft pastel decor. The name derives from an amalgam of the Christian names of two children. Good taste prevails in an uncluttered traditional environment with artefacts including delicate china crockery gently taking the visitor into his own particular nostalgic frame. A pride in our local industrial history is evident through unobtrusively presented wall hung photos of local coal mines of old. The place is clinically clean, the food fresh , well presented and tasty.. Really nice ladie, Lovely cafe with fresh Big cakes nice and sweet but not too Sweet too big for me so had half cake with my Mum probably could had by by self as it was so nice but had BQQ chicken sandwich also chicken mayo to go home with for later. A lovely friendly place.vwould highly recommend the service, and quality of food. We saw people being served with afternoon teas, and would love to go back next time I'm visiting Maesteg to have one of these!
