Popped in for food while heading back home after a great weekend camping. First impressions as we walked through the door was wow, this is megga posh. We were given a warm welcome and quickly seated in a booth near to the door. All staff, even the ones that never served us, still had time to give us a smile and welcome us. The food and drinks were very quick. My son loved the milkshake and smothered hunters chicken. The only small issue was I had to ask for more BBQ sauce as his meal was a bit dry. But the all-day breakfast was great and cooked to perfection. Toilets are very clean and well looked after. Best place we visited for food whist in Wales. Only wish I lived close by

I've been aiming to go here for about five years and finally bit the bullet today and have I been missing out. Beautifully set out inside. Staff were great. I rocked up in my work kit and they had no issues with me being there. The food. I arrived after eleven so breakfast was off the table. To be honest this was a blessing. I went for the grilled steak sandwich with mushrooms and caramelised onion and a side of chips. I'd like to think I can put a fair bit away but this was a challenge. My pics do the size of this meal no justice. I had the meal a bottle of water and a takeaway coffee for about twelve quid. Absolute bargain in my opinion. Will definitely be visiting again.

Wall of doors with large glass panels leaves the sun absolutely blinding you if you're unlucky enough to be sitting on a seat opposite it. Asked for the table to be cleared when ordering food. Coffees arrived and there was no room as the table hadnt been cleared, we were left for about 10-15 mins with someones discarded food all over the table. Food arrived eventually, I was greeted with two eggs with partially raw centres. This is the 4th bad experience I've had here and unfortunately I think I'm pretty much done with it.. last time someones beans were on our table. Girl went to put our tea down, saw them, put the tea beside them and left. Didn't think to wipe the table.

Well the food was okay, not spectacular but alright. There are huge pieces of dry looking cake on show, and none of it seems as if it's freshly baked. If you like warm soft drinks, with no offer of ice and coffee served in an oversized cups, then this could be the place for you. The decor is pleasant but the eating experience just didn't match.

The young staff were friendlyish, but the orders came out in a disorganised fashion. Warm soft drinks and hot coffe first, along with cutlery? Cutlery comes with food, or is on the table as in setting the table.

The prawn Marie Rose sandwich was messy to eat - way too much sauce, not enough prawns for the money. The side salads that accompany your order, are really little more than a suggestion, on the side of the plate. The whole plate looked like it had been served up with parsimonious efficiency, as if someone had counted out the number of prawns per sandwich! Spreading out small bits of salad, just makes it looks like it's been spread out. Can I also say that the food was also presented on the plate in a very odd way - a whole sandwich and two knives and a fork? Weird! A sandwich is meant to be finger food, cut into easy to consume pieces.

The crockery is big but the little tables are very small, so sharing one of the small round tables table with a guest, is intimate. These tables should be retired. Bigger tables but at a lower height, would be more comfortable for the customers. Someone should really look at these things and change them - then it would be a great place to eat.

My main grumble was that someone, I'm not sure who, thought that it would be a good idea to sweep the floor and tidy up, whilst we were still eating. The clearing of nearby tables is standard practice, all good waiting staff should be able to handle that task in a quiet and timely manner. However, sweeping the floor, and I mean moving the chairs around, pulling out the tables, sweeping the floor, is something that should only be done once all of the patrons are gone and you have closed. The atmosphere was destroyed and the banging of the broom against the woodwork was unwelcome. In fact that's how we were made to feel - unwelcome. It's as if the staff were saying, you've had your food, now go on, on your way. Really bad service, not impressed. The idea of dust in food and drinks that you're expected to pay for, is horrible. That's why I didn't leave a tip, because the service was not good.

All in all, I hope that Martha's takes my comments on board and improves it's service and sandwich/salad portion sizes. If not , there are plenty of other places that are...

I recently visited a garden centre and, overall, I would rate my experience with 3 out of 5 stars. While there were some positive aspects, there were a couple of areas that left room for improvement.

One of the main drawbacks was the plant selection. I found it to be quite limited and not as diverse as I had hoped. The variety of plants available was not extensive, which made it challenging to find specific species or unique specimens. It would have been great to see a wider range of options to cater to different gardening preferences.

Another aspect that affected my rating was the pricing. I found the prices at this garden centre to be on the pricier side compared to other establishments. While I understand that quality plants come at a cost, it would have been beneficial to have more affordable options available, especially for those with smaller budgets or beginner gardeners.

However, I must mention that there were still some positive elements worth noting. The staff at the garden centre were friendly and helpful. They provided assistance when needed and were knowledgeable about the plants they had in stock. Additionally, the overall atmosphere of the garden centre was pleasant, with well-maintained pathways and displays.

In conclusion, although I had some reservations about the plant selection being poor and the prices being on the higher side, the friendly staff and the overall ambiance of the garden centre were positive aspects. While I may not have found everything I was looking for, it still provided a decent...

So went here today for the first time as this place had been recommended, sat at the table scrolled through the menu for what seemed like a good choice of reasonably priced food for an afternoon lunch. After placing our order at the counter we waited some 40mins without any drinks or food, I raised it with the one of many waitresses who went and checked and discovered that our order slip had been shelved without any action. She apologised and brought our drinks out stating that the food order and drinks hadn't been actioned. After another 20mins we'd finished our drinks so I went to see what's holding the food up some hour after ordering. Turns out not only was the food never ordered in the first instance when the waitress realises it hadn't been the 2nd time she never checked again to make sure the kitchen had it. In disgust at the lack of service we then left, For me there's a definite lack of training, too many people hanging around the kitchen having mini meetings, people waiting to be seated and no one attending them as they're all hanging about chatting in the kitchen. Gutted it didn't work out but I definitely won't be back...
