I am compelled to write a review because this place is shockingly abysmal. I go here maybe twice a month, and it gets worse every time. on the last 2 occasions, I've parked up to enter the store as the app refuses to let me pay on it anymore. (According to Google store reviews, it's not just me either.)
I scan the app and order on the touch screen, choose takeaway, and "yes please" for a bag. and for the second time in a row, there's no paper in the machine, so I just remember the number they gave me. no big deal.
I wait a little while, and then someone yells my number and pushes a tray of things towards me. I looked at it, then at the staff member and said, "Can I have a bag please, I've paid for one." They then practically throw a bag at me, to which I respond, "I'll pack it myself then." there was a customer by my side that I'd seen previously complaining, bringing a burger back to complain again. I spoke to her and mentioned how the service here had become terrible (loud enough for the staff to hear). I took my food and left.
upon unpacking the food, what a surprise, no sauces. I checked the order label on the bag that clearly said, "Curry sauce, ketchup, bag."
I won't be coming back to this McDonald's.
There are too many let downs and too much disappointment.
All this seems to have started since they started doing deliveries, and from the reviews I've read, those customers aren't happy either.

Although with this McDonald's they go the extra mile to ensure your order is always incorrect or incomplete. With regards to the drive through..... I've cooked a Sunday dinner faster. Especially frustrating when you see Uber Eats drivers walk in and come out with food and you've not moved a single cars length. It's pretty disappointing when you dine in, staff see customers as an inconvenience because you're taking up their time, distracting them from sending snaps or talking with their friends... and still Uber Eats are in and out while your food is held at a red light as low priority. Also feel like asking for a wage while I'm there as I'm used to having to clear and clean a table before I use it. As far as McDonald's go, this is the worst run restaurant I've been to. Previous to Uber Eats is was okayish (is that's a real word). I now think it's completely disorganised and staff believe they get paid for attendance. I'd recommend driving a bit further down the road and get a KFC which is quick, accurate and fast...as expected...

We went through the drive through,(reached the second window only to find we'd been given the wrong items) but still had to wait for the food in the car park...This gave us enough time to try to find out why the bill sounded a bit high. We went over the receipt several times, but still couldn't work out where the extra charge was coming from (all the items were correct on the bill, just somehow not the prices given). After going into the building with the receipt, they rang it through the till again item by item, and it was several pounds too high. The till at the drive through was incorrectly programmed...But the manager was reluctant to talk about it, continuing to serve customers with it!! We got back to the car with our VERY reluctantly given refund for the overcharge, only to find we also had been given no fork, sauce, or napkins. Utterly horrible place, run by completely run down...
