Delicious food. Generously filled Buddha bowl comprising falafel, humous, beetroot puree, avocado and other mouth watering ingredients, freshly prepared; portions large enough to give you a Buddha sized waistline. Quiche also excellent. Nice selection of hot and cold drinks as well. After a stroll round the garden, managed to find room for afternoon tea, with sumptuous scones. UPDATE 21 May 23. No longer serving food despite menu and signs advertising food.

Arrived and ordered two cakes with tea. They told us to sit at a table and they'd bring it to us. It took 25 minutes for it to arrive! Twice I had to ask where our food and drinks were. People that arrived after us were walking out with their food and drinks. We wasted a lot of time just waiting, when time was getting on and we hadn't yet been around the gardens.

Limited menu of soups and toasties due to being winter and quiet which I totally understand. I had carrot and coriander soup with a cheese toastie, delicious and filling! Can't wait to come back and try more! Beautiful settings, wish I had better footwear on so I could explore but I'm very lucky and only live a few miles away so I'll be back 🙂

We just stopped off at this lovely cafe on our way home from West Wales. It’s part of a beautiful house and there was plenty of free parking and places to walk dogs. There’s a peaceful courtyard which had a variety of people enjoying their food in the sun. There’s also a little antiques shop that sells plants too. My husband and I sat inside as I got sunburnt yesterday. The huge homemade cakes were the first thing that caught my eye! They looked delicious it was really hard to pick which one we would try. I had a very tasty BLT sandwich and my husband had the Breakfast stack. Both were freshly cooked, the staff were clearly busy but also managed to be friendly and efficient. I got talking to the lovely owner Jaz who has built her business up from a humble start in her Mum’s kitchen. She was clearly a very talented lady who puts her heart into her baking and her cafe. We couldn’t resist a slice of cake so we had a piece of custard cream cake and a piece of lemon n and Blueberry. Both were delicious. Thanks Jaz and team for giving us a very pleasant experience, we’ll definitely stop in again when we’re back...

It's been a couple of years since we last visited Glansevern. During that time we understand it had been sold and the gardens and cafe closed. Well it's reopened and we called into the lovely courtyard cafe for lunch yesterday.

The cafe, the food, the people who work there and the location are brilliant.

For those that haven't visited before, the cafe is set in part of the old Victorian stables in the courtyard (have a look at their website for pictures). There is seating outside and of course inside. The ambience is lovely (although the music was a bit loud but they turned it down when someone asked them to). We had a Portobello Pizza and salad, and a Buddha Bowl, both beautifully presented and delicious. It's very dog friendly and they even have a dog's biscuit bar!

We'll definitely...

Having been to this cafe about 5 times , en route between Yorkshire and West Wales, the first couple of times we felt great. The food was very good and our dog was welcomed. Since then things have gone downhill very quickly. We arrived one time in March 23 and found just one person on their own, not knowing why he was on his own. (Stating he hadn’t been told) He wasn’t doing any food as no other staff had turned up We went in May 23 , arriving around 12 noon to be told they weren’t doing any more food that day due to staff shortages. They were only doing coffee/tea and cake. Needless to say we won’t be going back anymore to void any further...
