OK Diner — Restaurant in Wales

I couldn’t live visited this food outlet from the outside it looked clean and tidy and went entering. We were greeted by A young lady, she proceeded to explain that we had to put our details in for the car park which is very kind of her but then on entering the café restaurants and ordering the came straight away before we even had a chance to sit down to take a drink order and as we stated we literally had sat down we needed a few minutes to have a look which obviously frustrated her when we were ready to make our order she was frowning on our request After that our food came which was not what we expected very poorly displayed on our plates definitely not worth the money when we were asking the service for condiments or for parts of our order that were missing for some crayons for the children they slammed on the table after that, they slammed I will condiments on the table I had to ask on several locations for the same thing as they were clearly ignoring us as they were serving other people one of the other customers pointed out that I had asked for some condiments before them the young lady obviously had the chip on the shoulder and on several occasions me and my partner, caught the young lady and another young gentleman that was working there making comments and taking faces towards us which made us feel very awkward when we went to pay for the food there were a couple of inconsistencies so we obviously questioned it. The food was not worth that amount of money to be honest. We should’ve just gone to the McDonald’s which was only next door but we thought we treat ourselves. The pricing of this food is totally disgusting. it is not up to standard at all and the service all just let it all down. It is a shame, because it’s the experience you go therefore and the experience unfortunately totally let us down. We will never come back there again. And to add to this the smell of faeces that was outside was very strong and it was strongly coming from behind the diner. I’m not sure if it was maybe the bins that needed emptying as there were overflowing or they must have some problems with drainage but overall experience was very disappointing. They never made us feel welcome unfortunately the staff seemed very childish they definitely did not Will not be going back...

Im very sad to say i received appauling service here this evening. OK Diners are one of mine and my partners favourite spots when were travelling, our experience this evening may have altered our position there, as i have never been made to feel so uncomfortable, when im suposed to be spending my money on an enjoyable experience.

We arrived at the diner at 19.15, and asked whether we were in time to sit to eat, we were sat down and waiting to order by 20 past, up and until the manager left at around half past, just shortly after we ordered we were having a nice time.

As soon as the manager left, the two blonde female waitstaff made it their mission to make us unfocomfortable, publicly discus how 'sad and disapointed' they are to be late (its 19.35 now) one of the two walking back and forth past our table swinging her keys around, as a gesture to show we were the thing holding her up (before the closing time). Our food arrived at 19.45 and the waitress proceeded to stand and directly stare at us whilst we ate in a very awkward silence, the whole time her and the other blonde waitress talking loudly about how much of a pain this was.

I will be completely honest, the behaviour of the staff made myself and my partner feel the need to eat at a ridiculous speed which was not a pleasant experience. As soon as my partner cleared his plate one of the waitress' was over like a dash to collect it and the sauces, whilst i was still eating, still not past closing. At this point i got a little annoyed and began to eat at a slower but still above my average pace, i stopped to take a sip of my drink and the same waitress was over like a flash so i picked up my cutlery to make it clear i wasnt finished, she returned to her station of staring at me. I finished my last bite at 19.59 and rushed to pay the bill and get out of their hair.

The service was very rude from the moment the manager left, it was actually abismal, i can honestly say i have never been treat like that. It made what was supposed to be a lovely evening an awkward, uncomfortable and miserable experience. I honestly wish i had gone anywhere else and will probably do so...

Shocking service family with 2 children left stood by the door for 10 mins when not even busy, staff not bothered at all and even when complained to Dafydd the apparent manager through email he didn't even seem bothered and seems to think that being under staffed is an acceptable excuse We decided to walk away and go elsewhere for food which was a lot cheaper with instant service Hadn't been to ok for a while and will certainly not bother again Think they need a whole revamp of staff that understand acceptable basic customer service Was also shocked with the prices as seemed very high for very basic food Sorry for the review but have to be honest about my experience today and think general public need to know not to bother going there...... Much better and cheaper places around the hat appreciate there customers Would have given no stars if I could and my advice is go elsewhere people

Have to add that Dafydd is actually the director and has no respect for customers what so ever, emailing me very unprofessional excuses and really doesn't care what a potential paying customer thinks at all, told me if I didnt want to wait then should have just gone somewhere else........ the place was almost dead so waiting 10 mins watching young staff just playing around with surviets and coughing all over the place in his eyes is acceptable....... we did go elsewhere the idiot lol happy to forward emails from him so anyone can see for themselves, complete a.. hole to be honest LOL PLEASE PEOPLE DONT LINE HIS POCKET he needs serious training in customer...
