I wanted to take my time in writing this review because Penrhyn Old Hall and the owners are so welcoming, you won't find anywhere that is more friendly, it's an absolute joy to visit there and enjoy the hospitality. The actual building is steeped in history, it's like stepping back in time, ask the owners they will tell you all about the fascinating history that evolved through the centuries. So if you like a cosy environment, friendly owners, good food and drink....it's a definite must to visit....you will get addicted as we have and return...

Well worth a visit. Bit of a hidden gem. At the moment only open for Sunday lunch but at £10 for 3 courses a bargain. Reasonable choice of mains and starters. Food cooked well and it was nice to see fresh vegetables. The building dates back to the 1500s and is well maintained keeping all the original features including unused doors that are 4ft across with all original...

A very quiet pub. The building is 15 century or there abouts. The pub itself is upstairs. It's a bit like a spooky old building but still nice. A few draughts on. Lager bitter cider Guinness a half decent selection of bottles and spirits. There is also a pool table. Ideal if your on the caravan park. Polite owners....
