What a find, absolutely superb pizza. We found this place by accident and after messaging regarding a take away we ended up eating in. The young lady on front of house was excellent, friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. we have children with dairy allergies but they made a pizza with vegan cheese and the kids normally won't eat that but they did tonight!! My Wife isn't a pizza lover but really enjoyed hers and I love pizza, I make my own at home but I can't get it to this standard. The dough was outstanding, slightly sweet almost, lovely airy crusts and a crisp base. The kitchen team worked together very well. I was watching the young lady making the base, looking for tips......It was good to see such a professional team at work. I just wish we had found this place on week 1 rather than week 3, oh well it will be first call next year. The owner was a nice chap who stopped for a chat and it seems it's a family run place, Well done and keep it up. If you love good Neapolitan style pizza then this...
Read moreUnfortunately the establishment is only interested in tourists and winds down the service for locals, between school holidays. Having experienced overpriced pizzas and poor service a few weeks ago, I decided to give them the benefit of a second chance. I ordered a Pizza and having waited over 40 mins, in an almost empty room, they got my order wrong. My daughter's began eating whilst they added a topping onto mine and sent the pizza through the oven for another pass! The result was a burnt, disappointing pizza in an old golf shop! Had I not had to pay up front I would have only paid for two pizzas this evening and demanded compensation for my plate of charcoal. It's sad to say that perhaps a chain like Dominos would have been a better, albeit another overpriced option. These sort of places are not owned or managed by locals but by folk who move in to exploit by charging London prices on us here...
Read moreNice restaurant, the decor was lovely inside, a lovely section of drinks and wide offer of pizza's. We could tell it is a new restaurant though, a few teething issues that I think would need ironing out (cleaning the tables after food, bill was really slow in coming and no utensils on the tables, pizza was nice but some of our table said their pizza was soggy. Not mine to be fair, I had the hosin duck pizza 👌. Staff was really nice, I could tell that they cared about the restaurant. We had a lovely welcome from some sausage dogs but the dogs out stayed their welcome around our feet while we were eating. The dog was begging from our kids which wasn't something we thought was very nice when trying to enjoy our meals. Other than that we really enjoyed our time at the restaurant. Good to see local independent...
