Good value breakfast, the photo is of a casing from a bouncing bomb. It looks like it's rubber but it is cast iron! Interesting place to be.

What a terrible disappointment! My husband and I took our 2 year old boy here for lunch because he loves planes and we'd heard good things about the place. First of all we couldn't find the place after driving into the airfield car park because there is no entrance sign or any indication of where the cafe actually is. We had to Google the place and look on the images for something we could recognise before we managed to find it and it really wasn't worth the effort! We walked in to the terminal building, past a very skanky-looking sofa, to get to a hatch in the wall. A dead-eyed creature shuffled towards us from the dark and dingy corner of a very dirty looking kitchen and glared at us mutely. I looked around for a menu but the only one I could see was a laminate sellotaped to the wall. A sign above the counter stated that "Life is too short to drink cheap coffee" and yet the only coffee on the 'menu' was instant Nescafe - although at £1.40 a cup I suppose it isn't cheap! We took a table near the window, then realised, too late, that we were also next to a smelly, lidless bin full of old baked beans and fried eggs with various unidentifiable substances crusted around the outside. As we left we were treated to the sight of the kitchen troll, sprawled on the sofa, shovelling greasy handfuls of cheesy chips into her slack-jawed face. And we didn't even...

My wife and I flew into from North Wales to eat at Propellers. Sadly on arrival with the cafe at about a third full we were told they were short staffed so there would be a significant delay for food. We opted to walk to the department store cafe on the South West corner of the field and eat there instead.

Great shame as we know the food to be good at Propellers but I guess it was just bad luck on this occasion.

If looking to eat on a weekend at lunchtime it's maybe worth phoning ahead to check how the service is...

Was at Propellers today with 2 friends. Breakfast was great. THEN..... we ware about to order another drink each when we were asked to leave. I said we wanted another drink and was told they wanted our table for a big party of people. Talk about being thrown out with the dishwater. Rude just rude Thankyou to the owner for replying. I did tell him we wanted more tea and coffee but he said they needed the table and it was then my friend put...
